Amidst the 2022 PGA Tour, which is coming off from its Memorial Tournament this past weekend, Nike has brought out a number of golf-ready offerings. And with its latest, the Air Max 90 Golf “Surf And Turf,” the brand is taking an imaginary trip all the way to Maine, a state known not just for its cold-water lobsters but also its time-honored country clubs.
As the pair’s nickname would suggest, the colorway is directly inspired by Maine’s signature export. Lobster-reminiscent reds dress both the heel as well as the mudguard, the latter of which doubles down on said inspiration, as water droplets adhere to its surface. And while the adjacent branding, which proffer both dark and light shades of blue, may remind of water, they’re visually dry by comparison much like the white-colored fixtures elsewhere.
Packaged with an on-theme hang tag, whose graphic features a cartoon-styled lobster, the Air Max 90 Golf “Surf And Turf” should be hitting Nike.com and select retailers soon. Until then, sit tight and take a peek at the official images below.
