Red-colored sneakers and the being formerly known as “Kanye West” have been a match made on Earth for decades. And while the 45-year-old creative has kept his ruby-colored adidas Yeezy propositions to a minimum, he’s changing that on June 17th.
Teased over the last few months, the Yeezy Boost 700 is set o release in a bold “Hi-Res Red” colorway as part of Ye’s Spring/Summer 2022 offerings. Abandoning the drab color scheme of the original “Wave Runner,” the upcoming pair indulges in a medley of red hues across its leather, mesh and foam upper and sole unit combination. Forefoot components and suede panels along the profiles rever to a predominantly grey and/or black arrangement, further allowing the “Hi-Res Red” flair that animates most of the Yeezy‘s upper to pop. Herringbone tread also boasts the sneaker’s titular tone, while accents on the midsole deviate in a green and orange duo that nods to the debut Yeezy 700.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, as you wait to try your luck at YEEZY SUPPLY and select stockists on Friday, June 17th, for $300 USD.
