KANGHYUK And Reebok Usher In The Premier Road Modern Mid With Two Monochromatic Colorways

Back in 2020, Reebok teamed up with KANGHYUK to introduce the Premier Road Modern, an extension of the defunct Premier Running line. And now, almost exactly two years thereafter, the Korean label is helping the silhouette once again, dressing its newest edition — the Premier Road Modern Mid — in two monochromatic colorways.

A year in the making, the Premier Road Modern Mid, too, was unveiled by KANGHYUK last Summer, as they styled the shoe with their “HYOSUNG 01” collection. Pre-orders for a “Car Part” inspired make-up surfaced not long after, with pairs having been delivered just a couple weeks ago.

Here, with these two upcoming takes, founders Kanghyuk Choi and Sanglak Shon have opted for simple, monochromatic renditions. One sees a “Triple Black” palette, which is effectively a callback to KANGHYUK’s first Premier Road Modern; the next, by comparison, is a stark departure, opting for a light blue through its entire construction.

At a retail of $240 USD, the black colorway is slated to release at Dover Street Market on June 23rd and Reebok.com / KANGHYUK.shop on June 25th. The Blue will follow on July 1st, hitting a wider selection of retailers.
