Michael Le Maison Château Rouge, after contributing to the “FEARLESS ONES” collection back in 2019, is embarking on their biggest collaboration with Jordan Brand yet. This year, the Parisian outfit is not just limited to one silhouette, as their Air Jordan 2 is to arrive alongside two colorways of the Jordan Series Mid.
Cast in two near entirely different palettes — one white-dominant, the other brown — Maison Château Rouge’s Jordan Series Mid is a distilled version of the upcoming Air Jordan 2. This is most evident across the upper, as the paneling proffers the same brogue-inspired detailing and debossed, all-over pattern. “United Youth International” is also written across the shoe, both by way of the insole (which is ripped straight from the AJ2) and the patch affixed to the lateral. Additional, more subtle nods are then sprinkled throughout, such as the orange contrast stitching and striped accents, while the midsole offers a unique, lightly-customized midsole.
