Earlier this week, Union LA officially unveiled their Nike “Un-Cortez,” reporting a June 21st release for both its “Off-Noir” and “Sesame” make-ups. And today, not very long after, official images of the darker pair have finally surfaced, better showcasing the colorway in detail.
Unlike the “Sesame,” this iteration casts the Union-modified Cortez in a more neutral light. Black outfits the majority of the construction, dyeing the suede paneling that wraps from the toe to the Swoosh. What’s more, the midsole and tongue follow suit, albeit with the addition of white speckles and bright green branding, respectively. The base, in further deviation, is built of what looks to be a multi-colored canvas that’s woven with two shades of blue. Elsewhere, the aforementioned green runs across the cork insole, laces, and contrast stitching; cool-tones dress the dubrae; and a muted orange highlights the “UN/LA” hangtag.
For a closer look at this upcoming Un-Cortez colorway, see the official images below. These are expected to release on June 21st, likely hitting Union exclusively before a wider release.
In other news, detailed images of the Air Jordan 14 Light Ginger have surfaced.
