Among the most charming gimmicks in Nike’s arsenal of innovations is Shox, a quirky cushion that was heavily promoted at the turn of the century. Marked by four distinct pillars at the heel, Nike Shox was pitched as a stability-focused platform that provided balance and support in response to heel strikes during physical activity — much like the shocks in a car do.
With a rumor of a collaboration floating around since late 2021, the Supreme Nike Shox Ride 2 began to slowly reveal itself through social media, revealing the Supreme branding on the actual Shox pillars. Four colorways have been officially unveiled — three the standard Supreme offering and a fourth olive/volt pairing. All feature a classic mesh and leather upper construction with DURAPLUSH tongue and heel linings and rubber logo panels.
Accompanying this quarter of Nike Shox Ride 2 colorways is a matching set of running hats.
The Supreme x Nike Shox Ride 2 collection is set for a June 23rd launch (June 25th in Japan) at Supreme online.
