As the world continues to be treated to handfuls of Air Jordan Spring 2023 retros, NIKE, Inc. is keeping its “foot on the gas” in regards to drops for the second-half of 2022. Case in point?: The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Gorge Green”.

While not associated with the Boston Celtics, the pair immediately draws comparisons to past releases informed by the storied New England-based franchise. The majority of the sneaker indulges in a “White” base, allowing for overlays around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel to steal the spotlight with their titular “Gorge Green” flair. Color-blocking, then, resembles the Air Jordan 1‘s original “Chicago” look, though the “Metallic Silver” profile swooshes align the retro with 2001’s co.jp options (last seen in 2021). Underfoot, oft-imitated sole units abandon any rich green hue in favor of a straightforward, “White” and “Black” color combination.
