The Nike Dunk Low currently boasts one of the most expansive catalogs among popular sneaker silhouettes. Recently, the 37-year-old design emerged in a “Wheat”-colored makeover complete with quilted base layers.
Likely a proposition prepped for the year’s colder seasons, the newly-surfaced pair sees a leather build across the entirety of the upper, with overlays around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel donning a tumbled finish. Underlays, then, deviate from standard Nike Dunks with both their quilted arrangement and debossed “NIKE” text from toe box to spine. Underfoot, Air Jordan 1-like sole units keep with the upper’s color palette, though tread dons a semi-translucent finish that further injects personality into the made-for-basketball shoe from 1985.
No firm Nike SNKRS launch date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change as autumn inches closer. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
