This Spooky Nike Dunk Low Casts A Shadow

This Spooky Nike Dunk Low Casts A Shadow

Halloween has slowly become one of the more exciting holidays for sneakers, with recent years producing some of the best themes of Dunks, Air Force 1s, Prestos, and more. This first look at a grey/green pair could be what’s to come for the October holiday, and even if these aren’t meant for the occasion, these still tell a spooky story.

While these may appear like another overdone double-swoosh style, it appears that the second layer is actually a shadow cast by the logo. On the heel reveals more of this concept as we see the brand name in a creepy tombstone style font casting its own image, reminding us of the fearsome identity of the blood-sucking Dracula. The suede used on the upper overlay is intentionally worn in to further provide a haunted aesthetic.

Full family sizes are likely releasing during the Fall season; these Dunks could quite possibly be the 2022 Halloween Dunks, so we’ll wait and see what other similar styles pop up in the coming weeks.
