First Look At The Nike Zoom Freak 4 “Laser Blue”

The Nike Zoom Freak 4 has only recently been unveiled by the brand, but it’s already surfaced in a handful of follow-up styles to the inaugural offerings.

Ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Swoosh family have employed an eye-catching “Laser Blue” hue across the Zoom Air-cushioned basketball shoe. Breathable mid-foot panels interrupt the near-uniform look with an equally-vibrant green, with nearby backwards swooshes introducing a faint purple into the mix. While the latest Nike Zoom Freak style may simply be a compelling combination of colors, the rich blue and green may reference Antetokounmpo’s Greek and Nigerian heritage, especially when taking into account the splatter pattern on the outsole (see: Nike Nigeria football kits).
