Almost exactly a year ago, Patta unveiled their newest project with Nike: the Air Max 1 “The Waves.” And since the collaboration’s debut, it’s seen a number of follow-ups — such as “Rush Maroon” and “Noise Aqua” — and it’s about to receive even more colorways very soon.

Shared by Patta co-founder Guillaume Schmidt, this latest option recalls the shoe’s colorful early days. Some past-used pantones even make a return: “Rush Maroon” dyes the lining, “Orange Blaze” dresses the backside of the tongue as well as the laces; and “Metallic Silver” colors every mesh insert. All of these effectively support the leather paneling over top, whose standard and wave-inspired shapes are finished in a deep, brogue-esque brown.
