Jovani Hernandez Historically, the Air Jordan 2 Low has been an overlooked option within Michael Jordan’s signature sneaker line. Over the last year, the lifestyle offering has exploded in popularity thanks in large part to Off-White. To close out 2022, however, the sneaker will drop in several unique takes courtesy of boutiques from across the globe.
Following up leaks that Detroit’s Two 18 has prepped its own low-top Air Jordan 2, South Africa’s Shelf Life shop has recently been linked to the sneaker as well. Kept relatively understated with its predominantly beige ensemble, the African boutique’s collaboration makes a statement via its contrasting orange flair and mix of scale patterns across the profile and heel. Milky, semi-translucent panels find their way onto the low-top retro, sharing some similarities to the Air Jordan 3 by A Ma Maniere. Each aforementioned component works in-tandem to show some much-needed love to the second Air Jordan.
Firm Nike SNKRS launch details haven’t been disclosed by any party involved, but Instagram user @kicksdong has recently shared an extremely early look at the collaboration. Enjoy images of the pair ahead as you wait for details to surface as the end of 2022 inches closer.
