Over the course of the Air Force 1‘s 40th, Nike has celebrated by way of both of collaborations and a number of “Anniversary Edition” colorways. And that’s clearly not all the brand has in store, as they’ve recently unveiled yet another commemorative style, which indulges in entirely different graphics.
In place of the “Anniversary Edition” mark, this pair places an orange number “1” over top the silhouette’s usual tongue label; nearby, “40” is debossed right into the counter alongside a quartet of stars. The rest of the shoe sports a somewhat golden leather, with white neutrals dyeing the midsole, Swoosh, and heel tab, the latter of which features “NIKE AIR” in bolder lettering. Moreover, the Swoosh across the forefoot and the “AIR” written atop the bottom’s side walls add an additional pop of color, sporting the same warm tone as the aforementioned single digit.

In other news, the Nike Air Trainer 1 Shima Shima is returning.
