Michael Le “Concord,” whether by way of the Air Jordan 11 or even the Air Huarache, has yet to disappoint, and its appearance alongside this Air Jordan 5 is certainly no exception. And following a number of leaks and in-hand looks, the colorway — which is arguably one of the August’s most-anticipated releases — has finally surfaced via official images.
While it may lack the history of the silhouette’s OGs, the Air Jordan 5 “Concord” does pay homage to said catalog, opting for a color blocking reminiscent of the ever-beloved “Fire Red.” Much like the classic, white leathers dress the brunt of the upper, while a subtle blue tint washes over both the netting as well as the outsole underfoot. Silver Metallic tongues are in tow as are black midsoles, though every instance of the iconic red shade — from the various Jumpman logos to the spikes across the sole — is replaced by the titular purple.
For a closer, official look at the Air Jordan 5 “Concord,” see below. These are expected to release on August 13th, doing so via Nike SNKRS as well as select retailers.
