These days, collaborators can prop up from a variety of different industries as well as all corners of popular culture. And within the sneakersphere, the Three Stripes may have an edge in regards to their extended family, as they’ve joined forces with everyone from beloved toy brands like LEGO to renowned artists like Bad Bunny. Few partnerships, though, are as surprising as their latest, as they’re providing Phillip “Philllllthy” Leyesa, a customizer who made his following on social media, with his very own NMD_S1.

Before he went on to craft patchwork totes and carefully-darned double knees, Leyesa often aged up and tweaked a wide range of sneakers. Alongside capturing the attention of almost 66K followers, he saw some interest from adidas themselves, who gave him a limited F&F run of the above-mentioned silhouette. And now, almost an entire year thereafter, the two are rolling out a pair that’ll hit retail in November, this colorway more emulative of the creator’s signature. Blue, indigo-esque stripes dress down the side, matching the laces as well as the sole’s blocks, while natural leather and gum bottoms subtly mirror vintage. Moreover, the rest of the shoe is constructed of a unique, checkered weave, and Philllllthy’s “P” logo is lightly printed onto the midsole.

For a quick peek at the Philllllthy x adidas NMD_S1, see below. These are reportedly set to release this November, with sizes sure to hit adidas.com.

In other adidas news, Yeezy Day 2022 is this Monday.
