Ever since staking its claim as the go-to shopping destination in NYC’s SoHo district, Aimé Leon Dore has put the New Balance 550 on the global map as the must-have lifestyle sneaker for an entire generation. The model may not have a Panda-like staple (the closest thing being any one of the ALD 550 collabs), the silhouette itself still remains as one of the most coveted shoes on a global scale.

This first look at an upcoming colorway provides a peek at what may be next for the model. Featuring a white leather upper and the ever-attractive aged finish on the midsole via the pre-yellowed treatment, this New Balance 550 boasts that All-American varsity-esque aesthetic with the navy blue interior, heel accents, and shadow piping, with golden hits on the tongue, forefoot, and the heel. The NB motion logo sits at the forefoot, while updated brand logos appear debossed, pressed gently into the leather.

More details to come, so check here for a closer look and stay tuned for the latest in New Balance 550 updates.
