Back in April of this year, Jordan Brand unveiled a split-colored Air Jordan 1 Mid, which featured two different color blocking styles across its medial and lateral sides. And though it’s only been a few months since said colorway’s appearance, the Jumpman is already bringing it back, this time replacing black and white for “Beach” and “Cherrywood Red.”
Aside from the change in palette, the design here is largely identical to its neutral-dominant predecessor. Tumbled leathers build out much of the construction, which features an additional seam that runs lengthwise down the center of the shoe. On one side, “Cherrywood Red” takes the helm, wrapping over top a base rendered entirely in “Beach.” The adjacent Wings follow suit, as does half of the tongue’s own branding. The label’s other side is effectively flipped, mirroring the coloring employed throughout the medial.
