Sneaker News Nike has spent the better part of 2022 celebrating the Air Force 1’s 40th Anniversary. But as we embark on the second half of the year, the brand is once again spotlighting some other notable birthdays, such as the Air Max 1‘s 35th.
Adding to the festivities is the women’s exclusive, “Tour Yellow” colorway. In regards to its color blocking, the pair seems to draw inspiration from the Tinker Hatfield-designed sneaker’s most iconic releases, some of which returned for the Air Max Day 2017. In mimicry of said offerings, the construction’s Swoosh, mudguard, and logo hits are highlighted in the aforementioned yellow, while the adjacent mesh inserts and tumbled leather overlays opt for white and grey, respectively.
Constructed of premium materials, the Air Max 1 “Tour Yellow” is slated to release on August 24th at select retailers and likely Nike SNKRS.
