Sneaker News Both the Air Jordan 1 Mid and Low have produced a wide range of attractive, deconstructed styles. Of the many that’ve released in the past few years, however, few come close to rivaling the Air Jordan 1 Low OG EX “Dark Smoke Grey,” which has proven itself to be quite popular across social media.
Unlike the “Inside Out,” which is also slated to release this year, this pair does much more than play around with the paneling itself. Across the edge of near every overlay — including the Swoosh, toe cap, and heel tab — yellow foam is entirely exposed, complementing the rough cut of the collar as well the flipped look the forefoot employs. The construction’s layers of nylon and leather are highlighted in shades of grey and black, while the midsole opts for a much lighter, cream finish.
Complete with a red “Nike Air” logo and black Wings, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG EX “Dark Smoke Grey” is slated to hit select retailers and Nike SNKRS on August 26th. As we await the release, check out the detailed imagery added below.
