The New Balance 90/60 Adapts The Classic Grey Look

The New Balance 90/60 Adapts The Classic Grey Look

After a full slate of 550’s and 2002R’s dominated the Boston brands Summer release calendar, New Balance is letting their latest 2000’s inspired racer silhouette run rampant in a collection of shades pulled from the archives, dawning the latest New Balance 90/60 in a spectrum of classic greys.

The sway bars of the New Balance 990 take hold of a majority of the suede overlays in a light smoke tone sitting atop white mesh construction while dark shadowy leather panels connect the latters construction and grace the lining of the vamp. Clad in its greyscale treatment, the back half of the model features gloomy charcoal panels that meet with its lighter hue at the middle of the metallic silver “N” logo with the medial option bearing a stitched rendition in white. Underfoot things are brightened in a medley of cream, tan, white and ice blue outfitting the “ABZORB” branded midsole as seldom touches of maroon are placed in the tongues emboldened 90/60 bubble branding.

While a state side release date has yet to be announced by the brand, enjoy official images of the pair below which are set to drop in select European shops on September 3rd.

For more under the NB umbrella, the New Balance 1906R is revisiting the “Protection Pack” style.
