Hot off the heels of their very first collaboration with ASICS, JJJJound is befriending yet another footwear icon: PUMA. As teased only minutes ago, the Montreal-based design studio has prepared a characteristically minimal take on the Suede, which is, unfortunately, releasing exclusively in China.
Similar to their prior works, JJJJound has encroached very little on the footwear brand’s classic silhouette. Prepared in two understated colorways, the collaboration is constructed almost entirely out of suede, which is hued either grey or light beige. White midsoles sit below in match of the adjacent lining. The insole, too, features said neutral, albeit behind multiple, navy-toned instances of the “JJJJound” name. Additional branding is written in gold along the heel tab, matching the finish of the PUMA logos across the profile.
For a quick look at the upcoming JJJJound x PUMA Suede, see below. Again, these are releasing exclusively in China, with a release date to be announced hopefully soon.
In other news, the Nike Foamposite Metallic Red is returning in 2023.
