Another Deadpool-Friendly Colorway Appears On This Kid’s Nike Air Max Plus

Another Deadpool-Friendly Colorway Appears On This Kid’s Nike Air Max Plus

The Nike Air Max Plus isn’t among the most ubiquitous visible Air-cushioned silhouettes in the brand’s catalog, but it continues to play an important role for the company in select markets.

Recently, the Sean McDowell-designed sneaker emerged in a mix of red and black colors. While the two-tone arrangement isn’t new to the Air Max line, its appearance on the latest Tuned Air offering delivers a compelling gradient that evokes images of Marvel’s Deadpool character (or even Skepta’s own work with the Swoosh). The mesh base layer indulges in the titular gradient, though whale tail-shaped mid-foot shanks underfoot follow suit. Lastly, “Tn”-branded outsoles bring some of the upper’s color palette down below.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch soon.
