Alongside Kevin Durant – who claims the upcoming pair ranks in his top 3 favorite models worn by his signature neighbor – and the surrounding basketball ecosystem, anticipation surrounding LeBron James’ 20th signature silhouette for the 2022-23 NBA season has continued to boil over in recent weeks, most recently being treated to a “Violet Frost” offering. As more renditions begin to surface, the latest proposition is choosing to pay homage to The King’s first championship ring in 2012.

A flipped aesthetic of the LeBron X Elite “Championship” takes hold throughout the all-black mesh construction and matching midsole featuring “University Red” and golden accents balancing the back half of the model. The latter scheme graces the double stacked Swoosh with the yellow finish residing above the metallic silver offering done in red trim. The presiding crimson tone is further applied along the tread and lining of the tongue while a seldom touch is additionally flaunted to fasten the mid section of the lacing structure. Concluding the 10 year anniversary of his first NBA championship, the forefoot’s midsole bears “Light Smoke Grey” graphics in remembrance to the career defining year and the palm tree leaves that surrounded James in South Beach.

Enjoy the recently surfaced images of the most recent LeBron 20 below as we anticipate a tentatively scheduled release in October, but that remains to be determined.
