Historically, the Air Jordan 1 Low has been a much more experimental trim than Michael Jordan’s original signature sneaker. Recently, the late Peter Moore’s iconic design emerged in another Split-iteration, this time donning “Bright Spruce” and “Black” across the upper.
Slightly-reminiscent of the original Air Jordan 1 “Royal” from 1985, the newly-surfaced pair boasts an eye-catching greenish tone throughout the shoe, with the titular hue appearing inversely between medial and lateral sides à la Nike Air Force 1 “Scarface” from 2006. Jumpman logos on the top of the tongue indulge in split personalities, too, following in the profiles swooshes’ steps while the embroidered “Wings” insignia on the spine takes on “Bright Spruce” flair. Lastly, sole units keep things simple in an off-white and “Black” arrangement, allowing for the upper to revel that much more in the spotlight.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead while you wait for firm Nike.com launch details.
