Dime Celebrates 30 Years Of The Vans Skate Half Cab ‘92

Steven Caballero’s Vans Half Cab is a “do-it-yourself” project gone official as it joined the original action sports brand’s lineup of products in 1992. To celebrate the silhouette’s 30th anniversary, Vans has tapped Montreal’s Dime crew to outfit the shoe in a refreshing ensemble.

Allowing the Half Cab’s design to shine, Dime’s interpretation of the modified original Caballero signature skate shoe applies a straightforward oxford tan suede to its upper. Co-branding appears throughout the shoe, with “Dime” text taking on a debossed look at the lateral heel and hang tag; the semi-translucent waffle-patterned outsole also reveals the skate crew’s name. Lastly, the Pop Cush-featuring collaboration boasts a black midsole that allows for the aforementioned details to revel in the spotlight.

Enjoy official product shots of the pair ahead, and find the shoes available first via Dime on September 17th and then globally at Vans.com outposts and affiliates on September 22nd.
