Michael Le Travis Scott‘s relationship with Nike dates as far back as 2017. And in the five years since they began working together, the two have delivered multiple iterations of the backwards-Swoosh Air Jordan 1, with yet another coming Spring 2023. But following the release of this pair — the WMNS Exclusive “Olive” colorway — the partnership will finally be moving on from the late Peter Moore’s beloved sneaker.
This information comes from reputable leaker Kenneth Myers Jr, who goes by the handle of @mr_unloved1s over on Twitter and Instagram. Myers further clarifies that Travis Scott and Jordan Brand will no longer revisit the Air Jordan 1 in any capacity — no highs, lows, mids, fusions, or the like. The collaboration is evidently moving on to other notable Jordans, as further evidenced by the rumors of La Flame working on an Air Jordan 7.
