The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Returns In Original “Chicago” Style

The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Returns In Original “Chicago” Style

Debuted in 2002, the Jordan Nu Retro 1 has been kept in the vault for the large part of the last 20 years, but the low-top silhouette is poised to enter the spotlight before 2022 ends.

In addition to emerging in a special makeup courtesy of Jayson Tatum, the non-Air Jordan has recently appeared in its original “Chicago” colorway. Smooth leather construction across the upper divvies up hits of “White,” “Black” and “University Red” well, with the latter two hues faithfully recreating the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” at the forefoot. Profile swooshes are abandoned in favor of a fragmented “Wings” logo on the lateral side, which served as a breath of fresh air to Jordan Brand’s line of products in the early aughts. Underfoot, the modified sole unit keeps on with the top-half’s color combination, but indulges in a semi-translucent zone near the ball of the foot.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, as you wait for a Nike.com launch soon.
