Jovani Hernandez Taking a break from the Travis Scott co-signs, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG is finally set to release in an unofficial “UNC” colorway tomorrow, September 28th.
Clad in “White,” “Black” and “Dark Powder Blue,” the upcoming pair brings color-blocking from 1985 to the modern era. Most of the smooth leather upper indulges in a two-tone monochromatic arrangement, while overlays at the heel deviate in a vibrant hue that’s prompted the University of North Carolina-related moniker. “NIKE AIR” logos appear at the time of the tongue given the low-top Air Jordan 1‘s “OG” distinction, and boast the titular “Dark Powder Blue” flair. “Wings” insignias take on their original placement at the Achilles’ heel area, likening the sneaker to the late Peter Moore’s 37-year-old design. Underfoot, the made-for-basketball sole units opt for a one-two punch of “White” and the “UNC”-reminiscent hit, making for a compelling last touch to the offering.
