Shimmering gold “MMXXIII” Roman numerals nod to the Oregon-based company heading into the year 2023, suggesting the Nike Dunk will release at least four months from now. A simple off-white hue takes over the pair’s base layer, allowing for elegant red to animate overlays around the toe, along the tongue and across the heel. Air Jordan 1-like outsoles also follow suit, but the midsole indulges in an “aged” aesthetic made possible by a “Muslin” finish. Lastly, the celebratory shoes sport differing lace dubraes at the vamp stylized as important medals fit for the occasion.
