As an ode to the collection of silhouettes that rode with His Airness during his quest for six championship rings, the Jordan Two Trey combines elements from the subsequent Air Jordan 6 to AJ 14. After appearing in a wealth of OG in-line propositions such as the “True Blue” and “Concord” 11’s, Jordan Brand’s latest hybrid silhouette harkens the aesthetic of the 2021 re-release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bordeaux”.
The second proposition of the Two Trey to hold the burgundy aesthetic paints the aforementioned hue dominantly throughout the uppers mesh base and opposing leather and synthetic overlays. Further mesh detailing is established through a jet-black shade filling the ankle collar and upper tongue while the mudguard renders a cracked leather textile. The AJ 6’s chenille tongue tags come treated in the established tonal spectrum while underfoot, the sole unit pulled directly from the AJ 11 features a clad white midsole and semi-translucent shadow grey tread fit with wine-colored accents in conclusion.
