Each Fall there seems to be a new textile in play by the Beaverton-based brand. Electing snakeskin textures across a bevy of its lifestyle models including the Air Force 1 and Dunk Low Disrupt 2, Tinker Hatfield’s iconic 1990 Air Max cushioned silhouette is embracing the scaly aesthetic for its latest autumnal offering.
The neutral-toned offering centers itself around rough suede overlays presiding above the models “Pale Ivory” mesh that serves as a blank canvas. Treated in varying shades of Almond and Hazelnut across the mudguard and quarter, the midfoot Swoosh proffers its namesakes material in the established brown-scale arrangement while latter earth tones additionally fill the horizontally ridged panels of the quarter and heel as a Chocolate Brown bears the tongue tab accented by “Picante Red” branding. Underfoot, a “Summit White” midsole works in tandem with its red see-through cushioning system and surrounding cream hue in conclusion.
