Jared Ebanks Over the past few years The Swoosh has employed a multitude of propositions centered around animal print textiles. Most notably expressed via the atmos x Air Max 1 “Animal Pack” from 2020, the aforementioned scheme is now returning to the Nike Air Force 1 Mid.
Crisp white tumbled leathers fill the model’s base layer, laces and sock liner establishing a blank palette which allows the presiding overlays to outfit a boisterous treatment of faux snakeskin along the mudguard, a cheetah print through the quarter overlays and zebra stripes proffering the heel counter and ankle strap affixed with a titular red Swoosh. Adjacently placed tongue and heel tabs render a white and red combination slashed by a predators claws whereas further jet-black detailing contrasts the latter tabs and midfoot Checks. Concluding in a disparate selection from the tonal spectrum, a pink bubblegum hue emanates from the sole unit underfoot and the silhouette’s insoles.
