The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 was unveiled as part of the 18th Annual Doernbecher Freestyle collection, but it’s also been appearing in non-limited editions over the past few months.
Recently, the silhouette from 2010 emerged in a greige (a color between beige and grey) arrangement perfect for year round wear. Mesh base layers and the mix of overlays throughout the upper alternate between brownish and greyish hues, with details at the forefoot, mid-foot and heel indulging in a shimmering reflective finish. The Cushlon midsole favors a “colorless” makeup that allows for the slightest of contrast to revel in the spotlight, allowing heritage-inspired traction to stand out with its beige finish. Together, each aforementioned component adds yet another tally to the Zoom Vomero 5‘s growing roster of colorways.
No firm Nike.com launch date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon.
In related sneaker news, the Air Max continues to celebrate its 35th anniversary.
