The Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found” is certainly the most-anticipated release of the year, with Jordan Brand producing over 500,000 pairs in preparation. It’s likely the colorway will also sell out quickly in China — a region where Jordan Retros are known to sit — as it’s slated to drop on the country’s busiest shopping day of the year: Single’s Day.
From the Air Jordan 3 “Fire Red” to the Air Jordan 6 “Georgetown,” Jordans rarely ever sell out over in China, with pairs often sitting on the shelves in decent size runs. The Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found” is sure to break the trend, however, as it remasters and modifies one of the most iconic colorways in the Jumpman’s catalog. Alongside featuring pre-worn packaging and vintage-emulative receipts — both of which immerse the wearer in the overarching, mom and pop storytelling — the colorway ages up a 1994-inspired version of the “Chicago,” with distressed detailing applied to the shoe’s leather collar and base.
For another look at the Air Jordan 1 “Lost & Found” ahead of its upcoming release, see below. Again, these are scheduled to land in China on Single’s Day (November 11th); regions elsewhere, such as the EU and US, will unfortunately have to wait until November 19th the following week.
In unrelated news, The Drake Nike Air Force 1 will actually be releasing later this year.
