Brain Dead Is Dressing Up The Oakley Flesh In Five New Colorways

If not for a little push from Brain Dead, it’s likely Oakley’s footwear program wouldn’t have returned as it did several months ago. We owe our gratitude to the streetwear label for this newest collection, too, as they’ve reunited with the sportswear company on a few new iterations of both the Flesh and Flesh Sandal.

The standard version of the Oakley Flesh has been unveiled in three different colorways — “Sage/Sand/Grey” “Milk/Black,” and “Black Ostrich” — each distinct in not just color but also texture. The “Milk” is more reminiscent of the previous capsule in regards to construction, while the “Sage” opts for a suede much more distressed; the “Black Ostrich” is an even further departure, its leather indicative of its namesake.

In addition to the above-mentioned pairs, Oakley is also ushering in the Flesh Sandal. While the silhouette may incorporate the same sole as its counterpart, the upper is unique in its mesh inserts, perforated paneling, instep window, and lateral Oakley logo. Expect the shoe to hit the shelves in two options: “Iron/Brown/Dark Grey” and “Sand/Blue.”

The Brain Dead half of the collection — comprised of the Oakley Flesh “Sage” and Oakley Flesh Sandal “Iron” — is slated to release on November 15th, with the three mainline counterparts to follow on November 17th. Both drops will be available on wearebraindead.com, and the second will likely make its way to select retailers.

UPDATE 11/8/2022:
Brain Dead and Oakley have also prepared two colorways of the Chopsaw, both of which will likely release this December.
