Nowadays, flowers and chocolate don’t quite cut it for Valentine’s Day. And if you were to ask Nike — as well as many of their competitors — they’d likely tell you that sneakers make a much better gift. Even better would be the brand’s commemorative set of colorways, which includes an Air Force 1, an Air More Uptempo, a Dunk Low, and now also an Air Max 90 Futura.
Similar to many of the above-mentioned offerings, this Air Max 90 Futura is clad in holiday-appropriate colors. Dark shades of red set the mood along the shoe’s accents, complementing the equal amount of pink that can be found across the eye stays, pull-tabs, and branding. The two tones even come together across the Valentine’s Day specific imagery, namely the heart-shaped cherries present by way of the hangtag and sockliner. Elsewhere, the pair then rounds out its colorway in neutral fashion, applying white and light tans all throughout.

In other news, the newly-revealed Air Jordan 12 Brilliant Orange is inspired by the WNBA.
