Stone Island Brings “Steel Blue” To Its New Balance 574 Legacy Collaboration

Stone Island Brings “Steel Blue” To Its New Balance 574 Legacy Collaboration

Having announced its Football Drop just a few days before the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Stone Island x New Balance are set to extend the legacy of the Boston-based brand’s beloved 1988 construction in a tasteful conclusion the two cohort’s latest collaborative collection.

Military influences are harkened to the nines on the New Balance 574, exploring a pre-worn olive-treated suede across its dominant overlays whereas its base layer renders a grid-layered mesh outfitted in seldom sage hues. Metallic grey acts as an anchor through the back half of the model, employing along the perforated heel tab, ridged heel clip and sectioned midsole whereas its “N” logo seems to be fashioned from a 3D printer. While the Italian-based brand’s iconic compass logo adorns the tongue tabs in green, yellow and black hues, the remaining components enjoy a brightened sampling of Off-White through its fuzzy sock liner, midsole and laces in conclusion.

While we sit tight on the pair’s expected release within the coming weeks, in the meantime enjoy official images of the Stone Island x New Balance 574 “Steel Blue” below.

Updated December 1st, 2022: A limited number of pairs released on the morning of December 1st at the Stone Island retail store in Miami, FL.
