The Nike Air Max 90 Futura Adds “Fire Red” To The Mix

As the latest future-forward construction to grace Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 90, Futura tooling has lent its updated aesthetic to a slew of neutral-toned ensembles alongside the celebration of Lunar New Year. Deviating from its established fall-friendly palette, the Air Max 90 Futura is undergoing the same knife which graced its original build back in the summer months.

Following the same “White/Red/Silver” combination which was employed onto the Air Max 90 “Fire Red”, crisp white leather overlays instead extend across a light grey mesh base, further brightened by way of icy blue eye stays, color-matched laces and its smooth faux pigskin quarter. The near-clad upper is further driven home through a cracked leather midfoot panel and back tab, accented by seldom crimson stitching and pull tabs. The mainstay midfoot Swooshes – alongside a thin section of the colorless sock liner – too render a bright red finish in tandem with the see-through Air Max cushioning underfoot. Surrounding the latter with an all-white midsole, the trio of tones conclude along the sectioned tread.

In other news, the New Balance 9060 bears a dominant “Truffle” treatment.
