Jared Ebanks Each holiday season The Grinch makes his mischievous attempt to steal Christmas, seldom however, does he use the silhouette of iconic kicks to enact his scheme. Joining The Three Stripes recent obsession of infusing pop culture icons – such as South Park’s Towelie, Homer and Marge Simpson alongside the obscure Pigeon Lady from Home Alone 2 – with their roster of lifestyle propositions, the latest adidas Forum Lo enacts a tried-and-true representation of How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
Releasing this Thursday, Dr. Seuss’ hairy green character is harkened through a clad rough suede upper, dipping in between the titular green and yellow tinted hues of the Grinch. Whilst further establishing his iconic color palette through vibrant red strap loops, specific call-outs to the staple holiday movie are affixed to the laces with enamel pins and a rubber hang tag alongside the character’s bright animated eyes that finishes the pair’s design elements at its tongue tabs.
Set to drop tomorrow, December 1st for a retail price of $120, enjoy one last look at the collaborative Forum Lo via detailed campaign imagery below alongside our official store list to try your luck.
