The Kid’s Nike Dunk Low “Martian” Features Bold Orange Flair

The Kid’s Nike Dunk Low “Martian” Features Bold Orange Flair

The Nike Dunk Low has taken on countless styles over the last 37 years. The last decade has seen Peter Moore’s iconic silhouette dress up in ensembles exclusive to kids, like an upcoming “Martian” drop featuring black, orange, and silver colors.

Akin to dozens of other takes on the design from 1985, the unreleased pair indulges in a two-tone color-blocking across its leather upper. Underlays, however, boast a honeycomb-shaped pattern that likely draws inspiration from some extra-terrestrial gadget. Profile swooshes and upper heel panels deviate from their surroundings in a metallic silver finish, with the latter components donning re-worked “NIKE” text that includes the image of a flying saucer. A theme-specific martian graphic (crash) lands on the top of the tongue and sock-liners, giving the Nike Dunk an experimental touch. Lastly, the Preschool offering reverts to a straightforward white and orange arrangement across its sole unit.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.
