Jared Ebanks Having recently been reserved for titular-hued propositions, the Nike Vapormax Plus is flipping the script and undergoing a swamp-like aesthetic, enveloping the hues of an alligator – save the scales – across its latest offering.
Enacting a near-clad proposition, the tread, midsole and neoprene bootie construction reveal a boisterous olive green ensemble, color-matched at its laces, mesh tongue construction and semi-translucent TPU overlays that extend from the eye stays. The tongues trim however, begins to proffer the introduction of breaking up the monochromatic outfit, flaunting a seldom inclusion of light peach hues that further render its accent across the heel’s pull tabs, mini Swoosh, tongue branding and insoles. Underfoot, a fully translucent Air Max bubble provides a tried-and-true inclusion amidst the dominantly tread pair.
