Jared Ebanks With THE BEAMS, JJJJound and ICE STUDIOS producing timely collaborative constructions throughout the year onto ASICS flagship running model, the silhouette’s in-line collection of neutral-toned propositions has routinely provided fresh perspectives for the GEL-Kayano 14 to dawn, including this greyscale effort akin to the hues of an NYC pigeon.
Mimicking the stout-bodied birds differing grey-hued feathers, the pair’s mesh base layer indulges in a taupe shade infused with grey undertones in an effort to set forth the model’s monochromatic aesthetic. Color-matching the latter across its forefoot’s suede overlays, the heel counter remains disparate with its choice of a “Clay Grey” construct. Elsewhere, “Pure Silver” enjoys a striking contrast through its midfoot’s striped insignia in tandem with debossed detailing affixed to the mudguard. Finished by the pairing of a cream-colored midsole and grey tread, titular tart red tones illuminate the tongue and heel tabs alongside its TRUSSTIC support system underfoot.
Currently available in unisex sizing for a retail price of $150, enjoy official images of the ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 “Pigeon” below alongside an accompanying store list.
