Long before inking his current deal with Converse, Tyler The Creator was collaborating with the industries best as a member of Odd Future. With 2017 bringing us the beginnings of his suede-dominant propositions with the Boston-based brand, this summer saw the second iteration of his original GLF design. Receiving a seldom number of outfits so far, the latest effort from the two-time Grammy Award winner extends synonymous pastel GLF shades across its canvas construction.
Simplicity is key for the pair, as its smooth suede vamp, quarter overlay and heel counter enjoy a titular “Seaport” blue whereas its midfoot panels canvas construct employs a contrasting “Verdant Green” outfit. Creating a clad blue ensemble above through its thick nylon laces and sock liner, woven tongue labels in tandem with a textured sole unit underfoot proffer a lightened effort throughout by way of an all-cream composition whereas its tread and insoles indulge in a pastel pink finish.
The shoes are available now at Converse (see the shopping links below) for $110.
