Better Gift Shop Crafts Their Own Take On The Salomon XA Pro 3D Mid

Better Gift Shop certainly lives up to their namesake, stocking a wide range of brands the likes of AOI Industry, Cav Empt, and COMME des GARCONS. And since their founding in 2017, the Avi Gold-founded outpost has amassed countless collaborations, from an apparel capsule with DADA to footwear with Vans. More is surely on the way for next year — but before they officially say goodbye to 2022, the Toronto-based storefront is ushering in their very own Salomon XA Pro 3D Mid.

Cutting against the XT-6 dominated grain, the Better Gift Shop x Salomon XA Pro 3D Mid adds a bit of flair to the model’s existing features, such as the 3D Advanced Chassis that runs between the outsole and midsole and the layer of GORE-TEX that protects the shoe from the elements. Gold and his team have put together a colorway more than fit for the outdoors, comprised of earth tones through the upper and pops of yellow and purple along the midsole and tongue, respectively. Co-branding is surprisingly minimal, with the “Better” mark stamped across the medial heel.
