After touching down on the full breadth of The Swooshes lifestyle offerings, Nike’s “Year of the Rabbit” collection is returning to double up on some silhouettes that’s secondary colorways were too clean to keep stocked in the archives. Initially harkening its Air Force 1’s 2011 release with brightened milk-white hues, the next Nike Dunk Low offering renders a starkly disparate approach through pairing rustic orange hues with chocolate brown leathers.
Identical in its trio of tooling choices – including buttery leather overlays, a smooth suede base bayer and Chenille detailing – a vibrant red-orange shade envelops the forefoot’s textured layering and leather tongue construction whereas its heel panel proffers a titular pumpkin orange finish. Setting a darkened contrast down along the stitched overlays through dark brown shades, a maroon-tinted Chenille closely connects to the latter through the midfoot Swooshes and tongue tabs before finishing amidst the heel tab in a leather finish affixed with teal “NIKE” branding.
Coordinating its clad cream midsole with the heel’s embossed Rabbit insignia, a semi-translucent orange tread finishes the silhouette’s design elements. While we sit tight on further release details, enjoy official images of the Nike Dunk Low “Red Orange Year of the Rabbit” below in the meantime.
