Coordinating a bevy of timely collaborative propositions throughout yesteryear, ASICS’ GEL-Kayano 14 in tandem with the 30th anniversary of the GEL-Lyte III may have garnered a majority of attention from lifestyle cushioned enthusiasts, but the brand’s fifth installment in their GEL-softened series hasn’t been lost in the foreground; now coordinating a boastful multi-color pack.
Having been almost exclusively reserved for the likes of collaborations, the ASICS GEL-Lyte V now enjoys a seldom inline offshoot through an amalgamation of tints and textures, exploring a split color blocking across everything from its laces, insoles and medial panels. Remaining disparate in its pairing of either hot pink and blue tongues or contrasting yellow and jade embellishments, one of the few identical features across the duo of offerings renders a jet-black side stripe in either a smooth leather or messy suede construction. Pouring a collection of maroon, turquoise and faded peach hues along the diverse tooling of the first pair, seldom tan neutrals contrast the latter amongst the forefoot while an orange and black paint splatter coats the tan midsole. In opposition, a trio of baby blue, purple and yellow shades lay claim to the secondary silhouette’s split scheme, rending a matching splotched pattern across the lightened sole unit.
While no release date information has been shared just yet, in the meantime enjoy official images of the ASICS GEL-Lyte V “Multi-Color Pack” below in the meantime.
In other news, Nike SB and Jumpman are set to collaborate for an Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” this coming March.
