The adidas NMD S1 hasn’t had the immediate success of past iterations of the “nomad” silhouette, but it continues to play an important role in the Three Stripes’ lineup of product.
Recently, the future-forward design (which Pharrell Williams consulted on) emerged in an all-white ensemble to contrast a previously-seen “Triple Black” style of the shoe. PRIMEKNIT construction and robust, semi-translucent sole units underfoot opt for clean “colorless” arrangements, while profile 3-Stripes and sections at the mid-foot and heel deviate slightly in grey and off-white hues. It’s possible that the former tone introduces a reflective finish to the latest adidas NMD option, as has been the case on other BOOST-cushioned offerings from the brand. Lastly, trefoil-shaped traction underfoot delivers function and style.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate an adidas.com launch soon.
