Jared Ebanks Celebrating its 50th anniversary throughout 2022 with a slew of “Just Do It” themed propositions, The Swoosh is set to continue paying homage to its gargantuan influence and old-school roots throughout the new year with the Nike “Athletic Company” collection. After coordinating vintage palettes across the Beaverton brand’s most widely-adorned silhouettes, the Nike Dunk Low is returning for a sequel after employing a “Gorge Green” forerunner.
Exploring a monochrome aesthetic infused with OG interpolations, light grey suede overlays meet a crisp white canvas base layer for the beginnings of a premium dipped effort. Pairing egg nog tinted laces with the midsole’s matching aged ensemble, a solid grey coat envelops the tread in a clad fashion in tandem with the cast of its heel panel and accented tongue tab Swooshes completing the recurring theme. Outfitting the midfoot Swooshes in a heavily cracked finish, the latter in tandem with the pair’s sock liner, heel tab and lace tips proffer a boisterously vibrant red arrangement while a Bulldog motif and Athletic Company branding come affixed to the bright white insoles, completing the silhouette’s 80s harkened composition.
