The Nike Air Force 1 experienced an overwhelming amount of disparate constructions and color blockings throughout the silhouettes 40th anniversary. And yet, the Beaverton-based brand continues to find unique concoctions to dress its famed hardwood-tooled model in, such as the diverse number of accents attributed to this near “Triple-White” ensemble.
Coordinating a tried-and-true bright white base, the pair transitions back and forth between smooth crisp leather overlays and the cracked, tumbled appearance of the vamp, midfoot panel and heel tab. Exploring recycled components throughout, the midfoot Swoosh in tandem with the speckled tread underfoot harken a seldom light grey accent while the trim of the tongue alongside the insoles proffer a stark, vibrant volt finish. Continuing its diverse array of contrasts, lightened tones of gold lay claim to the silhouette’s AIR branding attributed to both the tongue and heel tab alongside the midsole’s markings.
