Jared Ebanks From lace toggles to boisterous arrangements, the Nike Air Max Plus continues to revel in disparate constructions for a wide-ranging fan base. And now, the silhouette employs a stealthy mix of black obsidian and “Midnight Navy”.
Attributing its darkened aesthetic to the pair’s dominant jet-black real estate, the tightly knit mesh of the upper first indulges in a lauded white to black gradient. Contrasted with a glossy finish across its mudguard, the laces and presiding loops, sock liner and midfoot overlay all indulge in the pitch-dark tone. Brightened in seldom fashion through the midfoot’s “Summit White” Air Bag cassette, selective samples of “Midnight Navy” coat the mesh and leather build of the tongue, jewel Swoosh and Air-infused sole unit underfoot completing the murky ensemble.
